5. Similar technologies

Marketing emails we send with your consent may contain a small tracking image that tells us whether the email was opened and which links were clicked. You can prevent this by blocking images in your email app, and you can stop marketing emails altogether using the unsubscribe link in any message.

Google reCAPTCHA runs on our forms to detect automated abuse. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms).

Pages that embed content from other sites (for example, a map or a video) may set that provider’s cookies when the content loads. We only embed such content on pages where you’ve accepted analytics or functional cookies, or we ask before loading it.

6. Third parties and transfers outside Nigeria

Google and HubSpot process the data collected by their cookies on our behalf, under written data processing agreements, and store it principally in the United States and the European Union. We transfer it only under contractual safeguards recognised by the NDPA that bind them to protect your data to Nigerian standards. Neither may use the data for its own purposes.

Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own cookie and privacy policies, which we don’t control.

7. How to manage cookies

The easiest way is the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page, which reopens the banner so you can accept, reject or change categories.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Instructions for the main browsers are available from the browser makers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each have a help page on managing cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, forms and some pages may not work.

Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals; use the banner or your browser settings instead.

8.Our mobile app

The Sciart mobile app doesn’t use browser cookies. How it collects device and usage data, and how you control that, is explained in our Privacy Notice and in the permissions the app asks for on your device.

10. Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year and whenever we add or remove a cookie. The list above is updated before any new cookie goes live, and the effective date at the top changes when we publish a new version.
